May 24, 2024 – Making her debut as a three-year-old on Thursday, Canuck Racing Club’s filly Sinclairity didn’t get a lot of love from the experts handicapping race in race 8 at Woodbine. Most predicted the finishing order after six furlongs to be some variation of Kid Gizmo, Unheard, Blameless Ghost, and Zibibbo.  Eventually going off at 7-1 odds, Sinclairity was a close second out of gate #9 as Tentomidnight flew into the lead at an unsustainable pace that nonetheless strung out the pack.

Only 19 years of age, jockey Pietro Moran and Sinclairity pounced just outside mid-point on the turn, quickly going by for the lead, and opening up en route for home. Second place Unheard had to be content to chase in vain from the five sixteenths pole and watch Canuck Racing Club’s filly set the fast pace down the backstretch to claim the win by 2.5 lengths.
